This Friday and next, I have given myself a little vacation for some family time and the July 4th holiday week. In lieu of new posts, I am sending along some of my past favorites that deserve a second look (or a first look, if you are a new subscriber!).
Today, I am re-sharing “Failing Up,” which tackles the story of my first experience with the concept of step therapy, as it relates to health insurance requirements for certain medications. It’s also referred to as the “Fail First” method, which benefits insurance providers far more than patients.
